Working at Eikon brings with it a wealth of variety, from investigating a claim, to experimenting with different adhesives. Welcome to a day in the life of a Laboratory Technician!

The all encompassing welcome I received meant that I could start my new role on a solid foundation, with support from the entire time across the whole factory. I have said many a time that I feel that I have moved department, not moved job, as the move was seamless!

The quality team I have joined are truly magnificent. They amplify a sense of community, breathing life into a department that can be seen as quite negative by outsiders. I thoroughly enjoy my role, as I have so many different avenues to explore. The knowledge I have accumulated in such a short space of time is phenomenal, and I credit the collective strength of the quality department, and the entire staff at Eikon for getting me up to speed to quickly. There’s plenty more for me to learn out there, so watch this space!

I feel very settled at Eikon, part of the fabric one might say. I am very pleased to be here, and look forward to making the laboratory, ‘tickety-boo’!
